DESCRIPTION:The American Diabetes Association’s Celebrity Art Auction Gala is a unique formal event that unites people from the medical\, corporate\, civic\, entertainment\, and sports worlds with prominent local and national artists in support of the fight against diabetes. \nEach artist and celebrity agrees to create an exclusive work of art through\, but not limited to the mediums of watercolor\, oil\, acrylic\, glass\, photography\, mixed-media or sculpture. The collaborative pieces are auctioned at the Gala along with work donated by each participating artist. Our youth ambassador\, 11-year-old Donovan of Fennville who lives each day with Type 1 diabetes\, will also create a unique piece that will be included in the auction.\nThursday\, October 28\, 2010\n5:30 p.m. V.I.P reception-meet the celebrities and artists\n6:30 p.m. – Cocktails and Silent Auction; 7:00 p.m. – Dinner and Program \n
